MOTHERS PIE CRUST

div

Tonight I'm alone broken hearted
To Mother I murmured good-bye
From the home of my youth I departed
With a tear in my bonnie blue eye
Forget all my troubles, I can't though I've tried
There's only one thing left for me, suicide.

Chorus: I don't like my Mother's pie crust
Eat it? No,No, No I'd rather die fust
I'll tie it round my neck
And tomorrow I shall be
Down at the bottom of the deep blue sea.

When I'm in the water my wish is
This piece of hard pie crust to see
Will make a good meal for the fishes
If they turn up their noses at me
When I'm in the water I know I shall drown
This pie crust would weigh sixteen elephants down.

Chorus: I don't like my Mother's pie crust
Eat it? No, No, No I'd rather die fust
I'll tie it round my neck
And tomorrow I shall be
Down at the bottom of the deep blue sea.

That's something I'll miss there's no question
It's my mother's pastry I know
'Cause all through acute indigestion
Poor papa was quite early to go
His last words were, 'Don't buy a tombstone for me
A piece of your pie-crust will goosefleshingly.'

Chorus: I don't like my Mother's pie crust
Eat it? No. No, No I'd sooner die fust
I'll tie it round my neck
And tomorrow I shall be
Down at the bottom of the deep blue sea.
