THEY'RE ALL BEAUTIFUL

div

The girls all down our neigbourhood
Have got bikes upon the brain,
Tearing about the whole day long,
Shocking us all with bloomers on;
When I'm crossing the road they tear along,
And frighten me into a fit
It makes me swear to keep dodging 'em all,
But still I must admit (That)

Chorus: They're all beautiful, all beautiful,
I like to watch 'em go by, not half,
Twenty inches round the calf;
Bumping on the stones,
Gertie, Flo' and Kate,
And they're all nobbly, nobbly, nobbly;
And full weight!
(Repeat)

Now all the week our neighbours are
As peaceful as can be,
From Monday morn till Friday night
They never get boozed or want to fight.
They hop into bed quite early too,
And like angels there they lay,
And they're all as sober as judges, they are,
Until they get their pay (Then)

Chorus: They're all beautiful, all beautiful,
They walk along with their heads up here
For fear that they should spill the beer,
Puffed up like balloons,
Can't get through a gate,
'Cos they're all nobbly, nobbly, nobbly;
And full weight!
(Repeat)

There's a family lives next door to us
And a lively lot they are!
You never did see such dials, what oh!
You talk about a beauty show.
Each daughter will powder and paint her face,
And oh! the noses they've got
They put you in mind of a lump of dough
Bunged on when they're hot. (For)

Chorus: They're all beautiful, all beautiful,
All manner of sizes and shapes
Puts you in mind of a bunch of grapes;
Pimples like your fist a-sprouting
While you wait,
And they're all nobbly, nobbly, nobbly;
And full weight!
(Repeat)

Now at the seaside place, where I go every year,
There's a penny show always there,
Four or five girls weighing half-a-ton,
Regular Jumbos every one!
At four o'clock, two mornings a week,
They all have a bathe, what oh?
So I dig a hole in the sand, I do,
And oh what a lovely show: (For)

Chorus: They're all beautiful, all beautiful,
The exhibition's worth quite half-a-crown,
Watching 'em all bob up and down!
Always there in time,
Never, never late
'Cos they're all nobbly, nobbly, nobbly;
And full weight!
(Repeat)
